Having read the other reviews, I expected Boots to be the size of a Ty Beanie Baby. My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday and she loves him. He is a great size for carrying around and fits inside her small purse and backpack. It is a bonus that he does not take up the whole bed when she goes to sleep and is soft so he does not wake her when she rolls over. He appears to be well constructed
